| When using the ladder style ramps that came with it. I use some "race ramps" Here is a link to the ones I have. [ http://www.raceramps.com/trailer-ramps-7.aspx ]
There are many different sizes etc to be perfect for your needs. I love them and give a perfect amount of ground clearance even when lowered a lot. I welded some angle iron on the bottom of my steel ladder ramps that came with the 18' car trailer so that it does not dig into the race ramp. These are super light and easy to move around. And fit perfectly in a short bed of my truck.
